WEREWOLF is written in GAMS/Miro to enable interaction between non-expert users and the optimization model. The Miro interface enables users to:
- Modify critical data such as generator costs, transmission line capacities, demand projections
- Activate/Deactivate various policy constraints (carbon goals, non-renewable energy constraints, non-renewable generation constraints)
- Tune other structural elements of the model (limit where investments can be made, limit generator shutdowns)
- Visualize outputs in interactive bar chart format, data is easily exported to CSV
- Visualize outputs on interactive maps (powered by plotly)
